The Employees State Insurance Corporation has released the official notification to recruit 608 Insurance Medical Officers Grade-II (IMO). Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online for the ESIC IMO Recruitment 2024 till January 31, 2025.

MBBS graduates whose age has not exceeded 35 years are eligible to apply for the ESIC IMO vacancy. Aspirants must ensure they fulfil all the eligibility criteria when applying for the post to avoid disqualification from the candidature.

ESIC Insurance Medical Officer Recruitment 2024

Candidates aspiring to work in ESIC must submit the application form on or before the last date in order to be a part of the selection process. ESIC IMO Vacancy 2024

ESIC has released a total of 608 vacancies for Insurance Medical Officer Grade II posts. Out of the total posts, 254 vacancies are for the UR category, 63 vacancies for SC, 53 vacancies for ST, and much more. ESIC IMO Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must meet all the eligibility requirements when applying for the ESIC IMO Recruitment 2024. The eligibility criteria are divided into various parameters such as age limit, qualification, and nationality. Failing to satisfy any of these criteria will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.

Age Limit

The age of the candidates must not exceed 35 years when applying for the ESIC IMO vacancy. There shall be a relaxation of up to five years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and Government servants) in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Educational Qualification

As per the official notification, candidates must hold a recognised MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) when applying for the post. They must have completed a Compulsory rotating internship.

Nationality

A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

ESIC IMO Selection Process 2024

The ESIC IMO selection process will be done on a merit basis. Based on the Disclosure Lists of CMSE 2022 and CMSE 2023, respectively, candidates will receive communication regarding the invitation of the applications on the given mail ID at the communication address provided thereon.

For the ease of the candidates, the Disclosure Lists shall be published along with this notification. Based on the applications received, a merit list will be prepared based on the marks of the respective candidates displayed in the Disclosure List CMSE-22 & CMSE-23 conducted by UPSC. The year-wise select list will be released on the ESIC website.

ESIC IMO Salary

The selected candidates will receive ESIC IMO salary in the pay level-10 in the Pay Matrix ranging between ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 along with nonpracticing allowance as admissible to analogous posts in the Central Government. Along with the basic pay, they will also receive DA, NPA, HRA and Transport Allowance as per rules of Govt. of India in force occasionally.
